Research
The Persifor brief was to redesign and then replatform. My research and discovery involved a review of Google Analytics, an heuristic markup of Persifor’s Magento site and competitive analysis. I synthesized my findings into personas and collected all other relevant research into an interactive PDF report. Tina and I met with the client and reviewed our findings with her.

Our initial conversations with client stakeholder, which was confirmed by our review of Google Analytics, made us realize that Persifor had two distinct user types.

WireframING
When I wireframe, I tend to look for examples in the wild (competitive analysis), and use that as a starting place. With Shopify it’s a little different. In order to simplify development it makes more sense to start with a pre-existing theme and then customize from there. That’s the approach our development team was taking. So theme selection replace wireframing.



Visual Designs
After agreeing on a theme I then mocked up a version of the site that showcased a set of features and we refined it based on client feedback.
